Kinds of tea leaves

There are various kinds also in tea. Tea is classified as tea leaves which are different for every place of production. I will introduce three famous tea of India this topic.

Darjeeling
Darjeeling is one of the summer resorts known best in India. The center of a town is located at high ground called the altitude of 2300 m. The difference in temperature of a tea garden of daytime and every morning and evening is large, fog occurs almost every day, and the cold wind of Himalaya dispels the fog. If fog is dispelled, the sunlight of daytime will dry damp tea leaves. The tightened astringent taste full tea like making muscat to the extent that this peculiar environment is called "the champagne of tea" consider in which it is fragrant and gives invigoration, and taste with deep rich are induced. Since the tea leaves of Darjeeling have peculiar aroma and taste, in order to employ it efficiently, tea leaves are hardly broken. Probably, Darjeeling will be good to enjoy oneself as straight tea, without putting in milk.

Assam
Although more than half of tea production in the world is a product from India, a half is a product from Assam. That is, 1/4 of the tea in the world is Assam tea. This Assam tea is almost used for the chai drunk daily in India. Assam showers on a lot of the monsoon which is a vast plain in contrast with Darjeeling, and became wet rain. Furthermore, vapor from a nearby river serves as rain and fog, and it makes tea leaves become wet.
This overwhelming moisture has produced the astringent taste unique to Assam tea. The taste gives rich with a peculiar deep astringent taste. Furthermore, it is fragrant and a color is also thick. So, it is good to drink as tea with milk.

Nilgiri
Nilgiri is famous as a place of production of the tea of India along with Darjeeling and Assam. If it is called the tea of India, it will be the feature that the character of flavor has clarified like Darjeeling or Assam. However, since a place is close to Sri Lanka and climate of Nilgiri is alike, the taste which is free from vice like Ceylon tea is the feature.

A tea garden is the place which it is on a gently-sloping hill, and there is a difference in temperature of every morning and evening and daytime, and was suitable for cultivation of tea. The taste of Nilgiri tea -- what is called -- it is "neutral". It is not so characteristic as Darjeeling or Assam. On the contrary, it is large tea of a very user-friendly use. It can use for a blend and arrangement tea.

Although only three tea famous for India was taken up this time, China, Sri Lanka, Java, Kenya, etc. are famous as places of production of tea.
Furthermore, the tea of the same place of production also changes the taste considerably depending on harvest time, how to break tea leaves, etc.
The world of tea has so deep the back.
